UNION Division Handbook
Be sure to check back often. This handbook is likely to change and be added to. You are always obligated to read and be aware of updates.
Basic Summary: UNION is a basic Ground Unit Division that primarily houses all the grunts of the City’s Metro Police Force. The assignments of a UNION can range from simple patrols, and standard re-education to hostile sweeps of the slums and amputating dangerous citizens. Your overall job of being in UNION is being a grunt.
The presence of a UNION grunt is to remind the civil populace that they are still under the Universal Union. This can be reminded through multiple methods ranging from general presence or beating it into them.
UNION rules and regulations:
1. Professionalism is encouraged inside the Nexus, however is mandatory outside the Nexus.
2. Your uniform will be clean and maintained, warnings and/or punishments will be issued if this is not met.
3. Failure to comply with any High Command units in UNION may be punishable by death.
4. If any acts of insubordination are reported, the units that are reported may be severely punished or put to death (depending on rank differences).
5. Units are forbidden from taking part in GRID/HELIX assignments unless specifically requested and are cleared by at least one of each Division's High Command. This may be excused in the field if you are left with no other choice.

UNION district two hostile insertion rules (sweeps):
1. A minimum of three units are required to insert into district two with hostile intentions (counter-attacking a plaza raid, hunting down a HVT (High Value Target), etc.)
2. Upon the occasion a sweep is conducted, the highest ground unit is considered the sweep team leader unless an Elite Protection Unit or Squad Leader is present in the team.
3. Once entering district two, restrain from using high mobility (running), talking, and discharging your firearm unless needed.
4. Hand-signals are to be used while inside district two to prevent alerting civilians/hostiles to the sweep team's presence.
5. The sweep team leader can make the call to go loud, allowing you to use high mobility, talking, and your firearm at will.
